More than cardio
Develop stance, movement, punches, defense and combinations instead of simply following a workout.
Build endurance, coordination, balance and strength through purposeful boxing rounds.
Focus completely on the work in front of you and leave the rest of the day outside the gym.
Train beside beginners, longtime members and fighters in a room built on effort and respect.
Boxing for real life
You do not need to be young, experienced or already in boxing shape. Adults come to Old School to learn something new, rebuild fitness, add structure to their week and test themselves. Coaches meet you at your current level while keeping the standards honest.
Start with fundamentals and clear instruction. You will not be expected to keep up with experienced boxers on day one.
Training can be serious without leading to a fight. Learn the sport and enjoy the work without entering the ring.
Choose private, partner or group coaching, then use open gym as your ability and independence grow.
What class feels like
Training may include shadowboxing, footwork, mitts, heavy bags, defense drills, jump rope and conditioning. The objective is not random exhaustion. It is learning to move and work like a boxer while steadily improving fitness.
