Old School Professional Boxing update from DelSol Promotions
at Glendale Civic Center in Glendale Arizona on November 12 2022.
Fabian “Zurdo” Rojo and Johnny Tejerina would enter the ring at the DelSol Promotions Saturday night fighting out of Old School Boxing.
Johnny Tejerina (1-1) from Phoenix, Arizona would start the show off with the first bout of the night against Eduardo Alvarez (0-2) from Long Beach California for four rounds. This was the second fight for both of these boxers. Johnny’s first fight was nearly seven years before. Compared to Alvarez, which was 2 months prior. This fight would be a battle between these two warriors and would come down to the judges after four hard fought rounds. Judges scored the bout, Paul Calderon 39-37 Tejerina, Dennis O’Connell 36-40 Alvarez, & Rubin Rocky Taylor 40-36 Tejerina. Tejerina wins by split decision and this bout was the fight of the night.
Fabian Rojo (3-0, 3 KOs) the twenty year old from Phoenix Arizona, would take on Rodolfo Ramirez (0-3) the 34 year old from Phoenix Arizona by way of Mexico. Rojo would dominate the contest and eventually stop Ramirez with 1:55 of round 2 by Wes Melton. Win by TKO for Rojo.
Remaining Fight Results for DelSol Boxing Promotions
In the main event, Moises Axel Rosales (6-0) the 20 year old from Phoenix Arizona would take on Misael Chacon (4-25) 32 year old from Chandler Arizona by way of Miami Florida. Rosales would go the full 6 rounds winning by unanimous decision over Chacon.
Trini Ochoa 24 year old from Arizona, improves his record to 14-0 with a win over 32-year-old Daniel Evangelista
Jr, (20-16-2) from Mexico City. Ochoa stopped Evangelista at 1:20 in the first round by Wes Melton.
Coby Longoria improved his record to 4-0 against William Northan (4-2) 38 year old from Phoenix. Longoria would stop Northan 2:36 of the 5nd round of this 6 round bout. Longoria wins by TKO.
Joey Ruelas (12-2-1) returned to the ring again against Nathan Davis Sharp (4-4). Ruelas would end this contest 2:35 of the fourth round, winning by TKO over Sharp.
Alejandro Gomez (4-0) took on Ruben Gonzales (0-2). This contest would end at 1:18 of the 2nd round. Gomez wins this bout by TKO.
