Sergio “Checo” Rodriguez wins his 9th at Ironboy 69

Ironboy 69 on October 7 2023 co-main event featured the hard-hitting Sergio “Checo” Rodriguez versus DeAundre Pettus at 168. 

This would be the first time Sergio would go 6 rounds and with fierce competitor in DeAundre Pettus from South Carolina.  Pettus entered the contest 10-1 and took the fight on short notice.  Pettus has never been knocked down before and it wouldn’t happen on this night either. 

Pettus was tough and could take a punch.  These two wattiors would go toe-toe through all 6 rounds.  Sergio Rodriguez would get the better of DeAundre Pettus on this night and win by unanimous decision improving his record to 9-0-1 with 7 KOs, whereas DeAundre Pettus dropped to 10-2.

Cesar “Chaka” Navarro wins his 8th at Ironboy 69

Cesar “Chaka” Navarro would face off against Jalen Davis in a four-round contest in the heavyweight division.  This contest would not get out of the first round as Navarro was over powering Davis, knocking him across the ring and putting him down twice in the first round.  

Cesar “Chaka” Navarro would get his 8th victory by TKO at Ironboy 69.
