Serving the Northwest Valley
The drive is worthwhile for boxers who want experienced coaching, frequent skill work and a clear route into sparring and amateur competition.
Surprise athletes commonly travel east using Bell Road, Northern Avenue or Loop 303 connections before heading toward the 35th Avenue and Thomas area. Always check live traffic before leaving.
Old School is located in Phoenix—not a satellite location in Surprise. Beginners train alongside amateurs, professionals and GCU athletes in one serious but welcoming environment.
This page is built for Surprise athletes, and our broader training community also reaches Peoria, Arrowhead, Glendale and Buckeye.
Train with purpose
Members learn a complete sport: movement, offense, defense, bag work, mitt work and conditioning. Sparring and competition remain optional and are introduced only when a boxer is ready.
